Dr.Punit Kumar Jain’s medical journey started from Baroda Medical College & Maharaja Sayaji Hospital, Vadodara, Gujarat in 1991. There he pursued his Medical graduation MBBS and Masters in Orthopedic (M.S.). In 2002 Dr. Punit was awarded Diplomate of National Board in Orthopedics by National Board of Examination, New Delhi. Dr.Punit did Mch-Ortho (USAIM) from University of Seychelles.
Dr. Punit had specialised training in Sports Injuries, Arthroscopic Surgery and Joint Replacement Surgeries under Guidance of Masters – Dr. S.K.S. Marya (Delhi), Dr. K. H. Sancheti- (Sancheti Hospital, Pune), Dr. Bancha Chernchujit (Thailand) , Dr Denny Lie (singapore) etc
Dr. Punit had advanced training in Orthopedic Trauma, Polytrauma Complex Fractures, Pelvic and Acetabular Fractures surgeries under the ages of AO (Switzerland). Now he is the faculty member involved in training programs of AO. Dr.Punit expertises in trauma management based on AO principles especially around the hip, knee, elbow, ankle , shoulder joints etc.
Presently Dr Punit is attached with Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi , India, as Unit Head & Principal consultant , Deptt. of Joint Replacement & Orthopedics..
